You can see that if you look at the world energy balance ("Position of District Heating..." see diagram, and full report). Only 35% of fuel consumed becomes added value. The rest become waste.

Make clean energy even better!
District Heating is very environmentally friendly as a basic principle is to make use of waste energy. NordIQ increase the efficiency even more (often 40-50%!) through better cooling, reduced power need and energy use.

Environmental improvement and reduced CO2 emissions is a main case in our business mission. Of course we use sustainable alternatives in our daily work and choice of materials in the products. But the main impact has our products during the use phase. Then they assiduously saves environment and money in 15-25 years!

Ethics & Fair Trade

We think fair trade is better than aid. Think globally and act locally. We would rather like to give a little contribution every day through the selection of products and services that help (e.g. fair trade products). As an alternative to always buy as cheap as possible and then give money to aid with the money you earned. This is more worthy for the receiver and reduces the need for aid. The social economy is here to stay!

Examples of what we do at NordIQ today:

• We buy fair trade/ecological goods when available.
• We support local initiatives of vulnerable groups by using their services and products (no aid or allowance!).
• Long term financial placement and loans is placed at EKO-banken.
• Decent payment when production is placed in low salary countries.
